Here are the changes :
Removed :
- Ability to choose additional folders for backup/restore with a tree view and checkboxes. This component made the program unstable in some cases, so it had to be removed.
Modified :
- Windows Mail storage detection with Windows Vista. Now, the application reads the registry and does not used only the default path. Useful if the users has moved it to another location. |

Fab's AutoBackup 3 3.1.1.180 is online.
Here are the changes :
Fixed :
- Items "Windows Vista/7 Sidebar's Gadgets" and "Downloads" folder were not selected/unselected when using the "Select All/None" button.
- No more prompts for elevation privileges (UAC) with regedit.exe when exporting/importing ".reg" files. Now there is no need to be an admin to backup data.
Added :
- Ability to backup/restore the Windows messaging subsystem profiles (MAPI : contains stuff like the MS Outlook mail Accounts... for experts). Note that the passwords cannot be restored because they may be encrypted.
- Ability to chose Outlook PST files restoration folder (default location or "Outlook PST Files" directory inside "My documents" folder).

- The "old" Quick Launch Shortcuts toolbar Backup/Restore function has been enabled for Windows 7. Some people found a way to use it.
Added :
- Backup/Restore function for Windows Sidebar's Gadgets (only those installed by user) for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
- Backup/restore function for Downloads folder in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
